Mr. Tomney is responsible for setting and executing the strategic direction of LHA’s client-facing lines of business, including business development, client service, strategic relationships, and national accounts. Wealth Advisor Solutions is a Division within LHA. As a Managing Principal, Rick also contributes to the strategy and day-to-day operations of the firm. Mr. Tomney has been in the investment industry for over 35 years and has been involved in strategic product positioning, sales, and marketing of investment products for most of his career. His experience includes both retail and institutional in all products including hedge funds and alternative investments.
Prior to LHA, Mr. Tomney has held senior management roles heading up sales, client service as well as product development functions for several prestigious invest firms. Mr. Tomney was most recently Head of Sales and Client Service for F-Squared Investments, and has held executive positions at Fidelity Investments, Putnam Investments and United Asset Management, Inc.
Mr. Tomney received a BS in management from Boston College and an MBA with concentrations in Finance and Marketing from the Wallace E. Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
