Mr. Quillen has over three decades of experience managing contrarian equity strategies. Prior to founding Contrarian Alpha, Mr. Quillen was a Managing Director at Third Point LLC, where he managed a short equity strategy and performed forensic research for the firm. Prior to that, he spent 25 years managing and/or participating in similar long/short equity strategies within Bridger Capital, HealthCor Management, and Quilcap Corp., a firm he founded. Mr. Quillen holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from New York University.
