Colin Warner is a Senior Associate at Little Harbor Advisors, LLC.
Colin graduated in May of 2018 from The College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Economics. While there, he was an equity research analyst for the School of Business Investment Program, working specifically on research in the consumer and industrials sectors. The Program is a student-managed portion of the College’s endowment and employs value investing strategies.
Following graduation, he traveled to Zurich, Switzerland to work under value-investor Guy Spier, founder and CEO of Aquamarine Capital, on an immersive project revolving around the Federal Reserve’s most recent quantitative easing program. Under Spier’s stewardship, he completed a white paper on the background, impacts, and outlooks on the program and how it has and will affect global capital markets.
Prior to the project with the Aquamarine Fund, he worked in a quantitative research intern role at Tandem Investment Advisors, a portfolio management company headquartered in Charleston, SC that specializes in U.S. Large Cap and Mid Cap equity portfolios. Working directly under the lead portfolio manager, he operated Tandem’s proprietary quantitative research model and prepared written reports on a variety of equities for the investment team.
